Set me up for the Tris

With your registration to Lakes ‘n’ Knödel, you agree to our following terms:

  • The participation of this event is unsupported. Unsupported means, there is no third party support, no private resupply, no help (technical, medical or culinary) by the organizing committee. The services to satisfy your needs must be open to everybody. Ride equally, be fair. Ride under your own power.

  • Participants must be 18 years or older on the date of registration.

  • Participants must have a valid liability, death, accident and health insurance valid during the event that covers emergency extraction and repatriation insurance.

  • The organization won’t provide any kind of insurance for the event and will not be held liable for any damage whatsoever that may occur directly and/or indirectly to you or other parties.

  • Participants have to pick up their accreditation, on August 2nd, in person and bring all necessary documents: ID card, insurance and medical certificate.

  • We will ask all participants to sign a “riders agreement” that contains a liability waiver and release form.

  • Within the “riders agreement” all participants also declare a permission to make and use photos, video and sound recordings during the event. Without the permission you won’t be able to participate.

  • Don’t scratch at night. When riding in pairs or tris category, one participant needs to scratch and the other one wants to keep going, you will be downgraded to the next lower category. Pair to Solo. Tris to Pair (to Solo).

  • By registering to this event you understand all the conditions and confirm your agreement.

Tracker Terms

  • We will ask you for a deposit of 80€ for the tracker, which we will return at the finish line. Paypal will be the easiest to collect the deposit but there will be a chance to pay cash at the accreditation.

  • Once the device and usb-cable is handed to you, the responsibility of both items is yours.

  • Participants have to return the tracking device and usb cable to the organization, as soon as possible and within max. one week after finishing or scratching.
    Should you fail to return the tracker within two weeks after the event, the organizing committee will charge a replacement fee of EUR 150 upon the registered user.

  • In case of loss or total damage of the tracking device, the organizer will charge, on behalf of Follow My Challenge, a replacement fee of EUR 150 upon the registered user.

  • In case of a missing USB cable, the organizer will charge, on behalf of Follow My Challenge, a replacement fee of € 5,00 upon the registered user.
